The Hamyak ATV mono-tracked motorcycle would be spot on for winter!

Built by certified Russian madman Eduard Luzyanin, the Hamyak (Russian for Hamster) ATV is a mono-track go-anywhere ‘motorcycle’. Rolling on a tank track and powered by a 150cc four-stroke, this thing has the ability to literally go anywhere.

Interestingly, the handle bars do not move so as you can expect, so it doesn’t turn like you would expect either – supposedly only by transferring your body weight to one side. The drawbacks of only using a single track. But it is built to simply tackle any terrain, not to tear it up like a conventional Adventure bike.

The sad part is, you can’t really buy one. It isn’t a full production bike and is more of an engineering exercise. But the moment it becomes commercially available, we’re putting our name down!
