The Lexus LM350h or ‘Luxury Mover’ is now on sale in the UK, and prices have finally been announced for all variants

It’s finally here, we’ve been patiently waiting for Lexus to finally give us pricing and specs of the new LM, the only thing we knew was that it will have one engine choice, the LM350h. We also knew that there would be a two wheel drive and four wheel drive option available, and this has officially been confirmed.

All UK versions will have the familiar 2.5 4 cylinder petrol mated to an electric motor that produces 247bhp which is used in the new NX350h and RX350h. The only variants we have are the front wheel drive, all wheel drive and the Takumi which only comes in AWD flavour.

“The equipment specification for the seven-seat LM 350h reflects the model’s luxury flagship status. Key features include 19-inch alloy wheels, power-adjustable front and middle row seats with semi-aniline leather upholstery with Ultrasuede inserts, twin fixed sunroofs, dual-zone climate control with nanoe-X air quality system and power sunshades. The infotainment package includes the Lexus Link Pro multimedia system, 21-speaker Mark Levinson 3D Surround Sound audio and a 14-inch monitor for the rear passengers that deploys from the ceiling. For the driver there is a heated, power-adjustable steering wheel with wood inserts Panoramic View Monitor, Intelligent Park Assist with remote parking function via the Lexus Link app and head-up display.”

The most amazing thing is that huuuuge 48 inch widescreen found in the back of the 4 seater Takumi version. It also has 3 viewing modes such as full screen, cinematic mode and individual mode for left and right headrests. You can also plug in your phone or laptop via HDMI although we’d be more likely to plug in an Xbox and boot up Forza whilst being cocooned in absolute luxury. It should also sound pretty decent, thanks in part to the Mark Levinson 3D surround sound with 23 speakers dotted around the cabin. There’s also a more sophisticated Lexus Climate Concierge that uses thermal sensors to precisely control and direct heating and ventilation. Of course, it also has massaging seats, which is nice.

For colours, you have Sonic Titanium, Sonic White, Sonic Agate and Graphite Black. The interior can also be finished in Black or Ammonite Sand with contrasting piping and suede inserts on the rear seats. There’s also some new wood grain that has been used throughout in a herringbone pattern which also utilises 3D printing – somehow.

Anyhow, prices for the Lexus LM350h, it starts at £89,995 for the ‘standard’ front wheel drive version, £92,995 for the all wheel drive variant and a rather healthy £112,995 for the top-spec Takumi all wheel drive version. Yikes.

It will be interesting to see these being used on the streets of London for business users who want to escape everything for the drive home.
